New GoPro

I think I'm going to have to change my mind about GoPro after looking at the specs of the new GoPro Hero2. The camera will film at its highest resolution for five hours, with the extra battery. The only downside is that two of them with the BacPacs won't be cheap.

Oh. Another thing we found out was with the waterproof cover. They do not fog or ice up in accent or decent .

Well, before they weren't as good as what I was already using. But now the new model has an increased image size, waterproof housing and the ability to film in HD mode for five hours. The combination is hard to beat...If we can afford two of them. :)

I keep having the photos fog up with the waterproof cases, even a bit when I'm using the anti-fog strips.

Really. I have the cannon fog/ice up, but the GoPro stays clear. Are using the backpack battery? Also I only used the GoPro for video. Maybe it was dispensing some internal heat to help. The next flight I will use the GoPro for the stills also.

Go Pros are amazing little cameras, it's amazing the way they can withstand the extreme variety of weather conditions!

I know they are designed to direct the heat of the camera back at the batteries (to help keep them warm in extreme cold). Maybe the camera doesn't warm up enough when taking stills to keep it from fogging up?

Maybe the anti-fog spay divers use would help?

Take a look at this photo, for example. Is that fog inside or stuff outside on the lens, or a combination of both?
